Copter crashes in Pune’s Bavdhan; 2 aviators, mastermind killed A copter with three people onboard crashed in the Bavdhan area in Pune on Wednesday morning.

Three people, including two aviators and an mastermind, failed after a copter crashed in Maharashtra’s Pune quarter and caught fire on Wednesday morning.

The incident took place around 645 am in hilly terrain in the Bavdhan area after the copter took off from a heliport located at a golf course in the vicinity. The copter was carrying three people on board- two aviators, Paramjit Singh and G K Pillai, and one mastermind, Pritam Bharadwaj.

According to primary information, the copter belonged to Heritage Aviation and was grounded in Pune. It had a enrollment number VT EVV, the police said. The eggbeater was chartered by the Nationalist Congress Party( NCP) and was headed to Mumbai. According to NCP principal Sunil Tatkare, he was going to visit Raigad in the copter.

The police said that four fire tankers from the Pune Municipal Corporation( PMC) and the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority( PMRDA) are presently at the spot. While the exact cause of the crash has not yet been linked, police officers said that thick fog could have conceivably led to the mishap. In August, a private copter flying from Mumbai to Hyderabad had crashed in Pune’s Paud vill. All four inhabitants survived the crash that took place near Paud, though they suffered injuries, a police functionary said.

It was going from Mumbai to Hyderabad, four people were travelling in the copter, assessment of any injuries is being looked into, ” Pankaj Deshmukh, supervisor of police( Pune Rural) told ANI.
